Background
This work encapsulates the conceptualization and development of the Think Blue Eco-campaign designed to promote Volkswagen's transformation into a leading provider of sustainable mobility. The marketing strategy aimed to attract customers interested in learning more about investing in an electric vehicle.
The Value of a Design System
An impactful E-Mobility campaign was conceived and communicated through messaging centered around initiatives to reduce carbon emissions across Volkswagens production processes, exploring new mobility solutions like ride-sharing and car-sharing, and prioritizing software development to facilitate autonomous driving capabilities. The informative brochure focused on the production of 3D information graphics consistent in messaging and visual storytelling to generate brand awareness regarding Volkswagen’s goal of achieving carbon-neutral mobility by 2050. A recognizable visual system harnessed the iconic blue color palette and reinterpreted the familiar brand personality through the development of illustrative graphics celebrating the spirit of mobility through a modern aesthetic to appeal to a younger audience of new car buyers.
